My Personal Experience at LakeView Park

I have visited Lake View Park more times than I can count accurately. It’s one of those Islamabad places that becomes a default when someone visits from out of town, and you need somewhere that covers everything in one location. The bird aviary is the part I always end up spending longer in than planned. There is something about the scale of it that still gets me, even after multiple visits. Standing in the middle of 4,000 birds in an 80-foot-high open structure with the Margalla Hills visible through the netting is a genuinely unusual experience. The go-karting track is the best in Pakistan by a significant margin. The Sodi karts at 2F2F are a proper machine, not the slow bumper-car-style karts you find at most Pakistani amusement parks. Best Time to Visit LakeView Park

Spring, from March to May, is the best season overall. The weather is mild, the park’s flower gardens are at their most colourful, and the outdoor activities are comfortable throughout the day. Autumn, from September to November, is equally good with clear skies and pleasant temperatures. Summer mornings and evenings are enjoyable, but the midday heat between 12 PM and 4 PM makes outdoor activity uncomfortable. Winter is manageable for the bird aviary and lakeside activities, but the pool and some outdoor rides operate on reduced schedules.
